Stringer Resigns........who else........will the State Have to Take Over Essential Functions of County Government??

San Bernardino County Counsel Ruth Stringer just resigned-- a posh $230,000 per year (plus a benefit package worth another $50,000 or so) job that outsourced anything tougher than a code enforcement case against the elderly (so it seemed to this writer at times). A lot of activity around the County these days perhaps over the Colonies memos? I wonder who is next in this. We have had the County Assessor resign, the County Sheriff resign, the County Counsel resign and many many more turning their letters of resignation -- early retirements have added to the numbers. Rumors of the fed's interest in certain county operations leaves one with the thought--who was watching the watchers?
