THE SHERIFF's OFFICE & VOLUNTEER APPRECIATION

I attended a volunteer appreciation day today at Glen Helen and it was a well run event. Hoops was there and did not discuss his race on the mike (and I didn't say a word about my race, as should be the case at such a family event). It was great to see the volunteers and their families coming together for food and fun. Nice event. I thought Hoops said it would be two years before such an event would be held again. If I get elected, I would like to pay some of my fat salary to funding the event every year. Without the volunteers, the Department would have some serious service problems.
